Our story
The tutorials existed. The teacher didn’t.
Josh started teaching Bitcoin self-custody in workshops in 2020 and founded NovaSapien in Boulder in 2024. Five years in, one thing was clear: the hardware and the tutorials exist — what’s missing is a human who sits with you while you do the scary part. That’s what we built the company around.
